Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.   Luke 1: 26–38

Today we celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We are reminded that Mary has come to us many times, bringing her message of love and compassion. Are we listening? How often do we stop and realize there are many around us who are in need of her message? How do we share her message with others? We can share a home–cooked meal; donate clothes and coats we no longer use; bless someone with a call or gesture; offer to do an errand; even something as simple as sharing our kindness with the people we pass each day!

God is so much bigger than we think, and has called us to be a part of a family that is spread throughout the world! Every time we love, every time we share…It’s Christmas!

Lord, we offer our gifts to you. Bless them for the good of your kingdom. AMEN.
