I have noticed that after Christmas more and more people have shown a reluctance to take down their Christmas trees and decorations…Possibly this tired old world needs the longer presence of the Light, of the Joy, of the deep–down happiness that the Christmas season brings. After all, God is Love and Light and Joy. Why should we not have a goodly portion of this each year? It seems right to have and to hold onto these experiences as long as we can, so that when the time comes for all of them to disappear we can still hug to ourselves in the deepest part of our being the Love, the Light, and the Joy that is God.
