Regina Kuehn, the liturgical consultant for the Sisters of the Living Word, was instrumental in the design of their chapel. She died on May 21, 2014 at the age of 93. The Sisters of the Living Word hold her and her children and grandchildren in prayer. Attached are the details for her wake and funeral. Mrs. Kuehn’s goal was to create a sacred space and recommended the circular design of the chairs around the Scripture in the Sisters of the Living Word chapel to signify the living Christ present in the midst of the Community. The transparent quality of the tabernacle frame gracefully enshrines the Blessed Sacrament which is in full view of those spending time in reflection. See photos of the chapel here.
