The Intersection of Racism, Immigration and Care of Creation discussion series began this month with a focus on Racism.

Rev. Dr. JohnAlan Boryk offered his personal experience of growing up in Mississippi, Oklahoma and South Carolina and the profound changes he experienced after moving to Aurora, Illinois to attend college in the 60’s and having met Dr. Martin Luther King.

Join us next month on Wednesday, February 19th when our focus will be on Immigration.  The workshop will be led by Pam Shearman, deacon of Bethany Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake and volunteer at the McHenry Detention Center. RegisterNOW.
