Ways to Support our Work
Prayer The Sisters of the Living Word ask you to pray for God’s blessings on our work and on the people we serve. Your prayers are also needed for new members to carry on the mission and spirit of the Sisters of the Living Word. “The harvest is rich but the laborers are few…” Matt. 9:37
In prayer we come to Yahweh as pilgrim people, trusting in God's provident love for us. As we become aware of God's presence, our lives spontaneously give joyful witness to others. SLW Constitutions, Article 29

The following intentions are offered for your prayer.
-For peace in our world, for countries torn by war, for places where evil discord makes life difficult, for members of the armed forces.
-For leaders of countries, for the will to make lives of all citizens more human.
-For citizens of countries to be more aware of the poor and marginalized, the immigrant and the less fortunate.
-For the Earth to be healed of the consequences of harmful practices of farming and manufacturing.
-For women and children who are victims of greed and exploitation.
-For peace workers, those who work for justice.
-For the work of Jesus carried out by the Sisters of the Living Word and their Associates.
