The Sisters of the Living Word’s Office of Development invites
and informs families and friends about the mission and works of the
Sisters of the Living Word Community and the effects of their
gifts.

The Sisters of the Living Word invite you to participate in our
vision and mission.
Your support will make a difference in the following areas:
This fund extends and
promotes the SLW Mission. Qualifying SLW members
receive annual grants for two purposes: to initiate a
ministry or to subsidize a Sister in an established
ministry. The ministries directly impact poverty and
its causes. The Fund was initiated by gifts from SLW
families and is supported by benefits/donations specifically
designated for the Mission Fund. You can lend your
support through direct donations or through the special
events earmarked for the Mission Fund.
Caring for our aged and infirmed Sisters
Retirement Fund
Because of our call,
Sisters of the Living Word minister our entire lifetime.
Beyond the age of 70, we are found in full, part-time and
volunteer positions. Some retired Sisters influence
parishes, schools, and non-profits. Some visit the
sick and home bound. Some work to affect social change
through written and spoken words of protest/support.
Your contributions toward the Retirement Fund help cover the
living and health care expenses of these generous women.
