Partners in Prayer

An SLW Partner in Prayer enters more deeply into his of her baptismal call to be disciples of Jesus.  Through the ministry of prayer he or she recognize the mission and spirit of the Living Word.  United with almost 150 Partners in Prayer and 140 Associates across the country, Partners in Prayer daily reflect on the Scripture.  In this way, each Partner strives to be open to the Word of God.  Through prayer, God’s life is found all around.  This openness to the Spirit brings freedom to the oppressed and new life, which is the Mission of the Sisters of the Living Word. 

Partners in Prayer receive a newsletter 5 or 6 times a year which encourages finding the Word in the Church and the seasons and events of the year.  Other information regarding the Sisters of the Living Word will also be shared.
